Bus and Tram timetables will change on Sunday 3 November to reflect demand throughout the Winter months and keep services running on time.

The changes are mainly due to the time of year as winter timetables come into effect whilst some small changes have been made to benefit travellers by further increasing reliability.

Most routes will run just as frequently as they do in the summer months, with Service 1, 2c and 7 seeing slight changes in how often they run. Trams will run up to every 15 minutes during the day 7 days a week and some bus services will also benefit from a more frequent service on Saturdays.

The completion of improvement works on Corporation Street has positively affected bus services with many routes returning to the centre of Blackpool. A transport hub now exists on both Market Street and Corporation Street, making it easier to inter-connect with multiple bus services.

Services 5, 6, 7, 9, 14, 18 and 19 all now stop on the improved Corporation Street meaning that travelling across the Fylde Coast by bus is easier than ever.

The recent extension of the service 2C to Knott End on Sundays and its later evening service Over Wyre will continue, with the service running up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and 90 minutes on Sundays.

A large number of people still rely on our buses and trams on a daily basis throughout the Winter months which is why we are not changing the majority of our bus services and even increasing the frequency on some routes on a Saturday. These changes will keep us running on time and allow customers to easily plan their journey with us. The improvement to the layout on Corporation Street also makes travelling by bus even easier and safer for customers.
