What links Blackpool to fellow seaside resorts Skegness and Great Yarmouth, plus Liverpool City Region ? Blackpool has recently joined the privileged places in achieving WorldHost Recognised Destination status.
WorldHost is the gold standard training programme for customer service and approval for the resort as a destination as a whole means visitors can be assured of a warm Blackpool welcome at turnstiles, transport, theatres and theme parks throughout the town.
The ambitious vision has been realised through a committed consortium in the form of Blackpool Tourism Academy: flagship travel, hospitality and leisure operators working together to ensure a seamless visitor experience from Starr Gate to Bispham.
