Hold tight as we proudly unveil the recipients of our Guest is God Award for 2018. 61 properties spanning Blackpool Hotels, B&Bs, Guest Houses and Apartments are service superstars, with Southport, Scarborough, Whitby and Llandudno accommodation providers also well-represented in the overall 77-strong quality cohort too.

Guest is God as a philosophy comes from our founder’s time spent working at what many people see as the pinnacle of hospitality and service – Walt Disney World in Florida. Beginning his “Traditions” induction training back in June 2009, the leader of the group made it clear that “it is always Guest with a capital G” – something that has stayed with him and he’s never waivered from ever since.

Never Guest is nuisance, or Guest is marginally important, or important when it suits,

but Guest…is…God.

Little Touches

 

In Indian culture, they have a common phrase “Atithi Devo Bhava.” Translated from Hindi, the literal meaning is “the Guest is equivalent to God,” an ideology which is at the heart of everything we do at Little Touches.  As recipients of our Guest is God Award, Guests have recognised our class of 2018 as really and truly following this ethos. 

In deciding who could achieve our Guest is God Award, we looked at and selected a couple of simple conditions that the average prospective Guest would use to inform their decision – the overall average review score and the amount of reviews available. Winners must receive 90% or more Guest Satisfaction in our Paid and Stayed ® reviews and have a reasonable, recent amount of reviews to pull the average from.
