Miss Inform, equipped in her "hi-vis" not-so-typically tourist guide outfit is the alternative hostess with the mostess to the sights and sounds of South Beach.
Performed by Jenny Wilson of Irregular Arts, the tours have been developed by South Beach Beacons, a local community group who are also behind the upcoming Blackpool Carnival. In their own words they are "working to improve the area and bring it back to being a sparkling asset for Blackpool and a joyful and colourful place to live."
The Miss Inform project is funded by LeftCoast, the Blackpool and Wyre arm of the Arts Council, who are also behind key anchor event Showzam ! which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2017.
Members of the Touches' family are also in the supporting cast for this whistle-stop tour from Waterloo Road, along the Promenade, down Dean Street and Montague Street, before cutting through an intriguing backstreet to find yourself on the home run on Bond Street leading back to the Miss Inform-ation point at Waterloo Road/Promenade.
